This is a simple reaction time task. Clicking on the start button initiates a block of 25 trials. As soon as you click on the start button place one of your fingers on the "OPTION" key and hold it down. A trial begins when the first circle in the column turns black. Watch as the dark spot moves down the column and when it reaches the last circle, release the option key as quickly as you can. Your response time will be displayed in the box labled "REACTON TIME."
After you have completed three blocks of 25 trials, without leaving this card you will see a summary of your performance. You need a fairly large number of trials for reliable measures (e.g., 100). Turning the page or returning to the menu sets everything in this game to 0, so 3 blocks of trials need to be scored.
Please note that once you start a round of 25 trials you must finish it.
